Living with Tea

The rain that soaks my umbrella was ancient seawater long ago.
The water dripping into the earthen jar in the garden will moisten someone’s throat one day.

Water flows between the heavens and earth.
The moon waxes and wanes.
The tilt of the ecliptic creates the seasons.

New life is born while other lives draw to a close,
a notion we have felt with greater intensity the last year.

For those who wish to retreat from the din of riotous voices and seeks peace and silence, we hope you will find a quiet companion here.

The tea fields are verdant with new growth again.
The farmers are in high spirits, a joy we share with the arrival of new tea.
We are all made of the same water that flows between earth and sky, one and the same with nature.
