カーリン・コルスター・ケリ | 石の指輪 | 新作コレクシオン 2025
6 - 22 December 2025
sunroom nichinichi, a space conceived around the idea of “ornaments,”
will once again present ’Stone Rings: New Collection 2025’ by German artist Karin KOLSTER-KELLY.

This long-awaited exhibition, held for the first time in about a year and a half, features more than one hundred rings, including newly created pieces. The director of gallery nichinichi visited Karin’s studio in Heidelberg, where together they opened the doors to her vast stone archive. Each semi-precious stone—natural, unheated, and untreated—was carefully chosen for its expressive color and inner light.
Crafted from 18k gold and 935 sterling silver, and incorporating rare stones and antique coins, each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation that transcends age and gender.

Under the winter sky where the Big Dipper gleams, the moments spent selecting a ring for yourself or for someone dear hold a quiet significance. Do you choose the stone, or does the stone choose you? The answer lies in the quiet mystery known only to those who carry these rings through their lives.
Karin KOLSTER-KELLY
was born in 1960 in Neumunster, northern Germany. After studying art and education for the handicapped at the Heidelberg University of Education, she studied jewelry at Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd and Pforzheim University after working as a gallery assistant. Her transition from educator to artist came at the age of 37. Karin makes (almost) exclusively rings because she is a collector who loves stones with all her heart.
